James M. Shepherd, CPA/PFS, CFP®, AIF®
Jim is President and CEO and a founding shareholder of KSKA, and
Senior Vice President and shareholder of KSA He received a Bachelor
of Science degree from Polytechnic Institute and State University; a Post
Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth
University, and a Master of Science degree in Financial Planning from
the College for Financial Planning.
Jim is a representative of KSKA. He serves on the Investment Policy
Committee and is a member of the Executive Committee which directs
firm policy and future development for both of the affiliated firms.
Commitment to community service and actively serving his profession at
all levels are integral parts of Jim’s life. |

H. William Kuehl, Jr., CPA/PFS, CFP®
Bill is Chairman and a founding shareholder of KSKA, as well as
President and founding shareholder of KSA. He received his Bachelor
of Commerce degree in Accounting from the University of Richmond.
He was a founding member of the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants’ Financial Planning Division.
A representative of KSKA, registered investment adviser, Bill is a
member of the Investment Policy Committee. He is a member of the
Executive Committee which directs firm policy and future development
for both of the affiliated firms. Bill’s commitment to professional
associations and his participation on several foundation boards are
profoundly important to him. |

Nancy R. Kuehl
Nancy is Senior Vice President and a founding shareholder of KSKA,
and Senior Vice President and shareholder of KSA. She serves as the
Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) for KSKA where she sets the tone for
compliance and adherence to the Securities and Exchange Commission’s
requirements for registered investment advisory firms. She is a member
of the Executive Committee which directs firm policy and future
development for both of the affiliated firms. Nancy is actively involved
in her church and other charitable endeavors to which she is devoted.

David A. Kozlowski, CFP®, AIF®
Dave is Senior Vice President of KSKA, and Senior Vice President of
KSA, and a shareholder in both firms. He received his Bachelor of
Business Administration Degree in Finance from James Madison
University, and a Master of Science Degree in Financial Planning from
the College for Financial Planning. A representative of KSKA,
registered investment adviser, Dave is a member of the Executive
Committee, the Management Committee and the Investment Policy
Committee.
Dave has served in various capacities on several professional boards and
is currently serving on the school board of Veritas Classical Christian
School. |

Phyllis L. Reynolds, CPA
Phyllis (Jenna) came to us in 1995 – making her one of the longest
employed members of our team. She is Vice President and Treasurer of
the two affiliated companies, KSKA and KSA. She is a shareholder of
both firms. Jenna received both her BS in Community Services and her
MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University. Jenna is actively
involved with her church’s development programs.

Julie A. Waitman
Julie joined our team in 1998. Julie is Vice President of Operations and
Trading and Compliance for KSKA, and Vice President of KSA. She is
a shareholder of both firms and a member of the Investment Policy
Committee and Management Committee. She is a representative of
KSKA, registered investment adviser. Julie received her Bachelor of
Science degree in Finance from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Julie volunteers with several charitable organizations where she holds
leadership roles.

Edward L. Hoppe, III, CPA/PFS, CFP®, AIF®
Ed has been with the affiliated firms since 2004. He is Vice President of
Financial Planning and Taxation for KSA, and a Vice President of
KSKA. He is a shareholder of both firms and a member of the
Investment Policy Committee and Management Committee. He is a
representative of KSKA, registered investment adviser. Ed holds a
Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from the University of
Virginia, as well as a Master of Science in Accounting from the
University of Virginia. He has held leadership roles in several
professional associations. Ed currently serves as an elder at Grace
Community Presbyterian Church.

Rachel M. McCaffrey
A member of the tax team since 2005, Rachel is the Manager of the tax
group where she supervises tax preparation for the clients of KSA.
Rachel serves both individual and small business tax clients and provides
tax consulting services to clients with domestic and international taxation
issues. Rachel is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State
University. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in International
Studies, with a concentration in Business.

David A. Griffin, CPA, CFP®
A dedicated employee since 1997, David is a tax associate at KSA. His
previous years of employment with the Internal Revenue Service
enhance David’s ability to serve both small businesses and individual
clients in the areas of tax preparation and consulting. He received his
Bachelor of Arts degree from Radford University, majoring in
Accounting. David is also a representative of KSKA, registered
investment adviser.

Barbara B. Lyons
Since 1997, Barbara’s position in the operations department of KSKA
has allowed her to provide our clients with support relating to cashiering
and various administrative questions. Barbara processes clients’ annual
required minimum distributions and tax deferred contributions and is a
familiar resource for account related questions. Barbara is the document
retention specialist for KSKA and KSA, which allows our firm to
compete more efficiently in this ever changing technological
environment. Barbara received her BA from Shaw University in
Raleigh, North Carolina.

Wilbert M. Wilson, CPA
Employed since 1997, Wilbert’s (Buddy’s) duties with the affiliated
firms are numerous. He is responsible for technology support for the
entire office and assists our clients interested in obtaining e-statements or
online access to our KSKA website. He is experienced in helping new
clients navigate the transfer process as they become clients of KSKA.
Buddy is also a wonderful resource for clients looking for the most
efficient solution to changes in account titling. He is a graduate of
Virginia Commonwealth University where he received his Bachelor of
Science degree in Accounting. He also holds a Masters in Business
Administration from the University of Richmond.

Michael G. Roeder, CFP®
A member of the team since 2005, Mike is a financial planner for KSA,
assisting clients through the financial planning process. He is also a
representative of KSKA, registered investment adviser, where he is
directly involved in client asset management. Mike earned his Bachelor
of Science degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State
University with a concentration in Family Financial Management.

Part of the team since 2006, Will is a financial planner for KSA, where
he helps direct clients through the financial planning process. He is a
representative of KSKA, registered investment adviser, where he is
directly involved in client asset management. Will received his Bachelor
of Arts degree in Economics with a minor in Psychology from Wake
Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. |

Stephanie L. Shepherd
Stephanie became part of our team in 2006. She is a representative of
KSKA, registered investment adviser. Stephanie handles client account
billing and special projects for the investment firm. She speaks
frequently with our clients and is an excellent contact for any questions
relating to investment accounts. She received her B.S. in Business
Administration from Mary Washington College, Fredericksburg,
Virginia.

Rebecca G. Hedrick
In 2007, Rebecca took over as Jim’s executive assistant. In addition to
organizing his busy schedule, she assists clients in a very efficient and
professional manner. Her vast administrative duties also include
assisting the tax department and the Treasurer with ad hoc projects.
Rebecca possesses strong written and verbal communication skills. She
has been involved with several very successful charitable drives. |

Brian J. Welch
Brian joined our team 2007. He is in charge of monitoring performance
and trading accounts on an on-going basis. He also monitors proxy
voting and class action suits – and works directly with compliance to
assure tight controls. Brian graduated from Virginia Military Institute
with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business. |

Kate V. Cardillo, CFP®
Beginning in 2008, Kate joined the team as a Financial Planner to work
hand in hand with clients and assist them through the financial planning
process. Kate joins our firm with over 5 years of financial planning and
investment experience. She graduated from the University of Richmond
with her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with
concentrations in International Business and Marketing, and a minor in
Spanish. Outside of the office, Kate volunteers for several community
organizations including Comfort Zone Camp. |

Donna D. Hodgson
In 2008, Donna assumed a new administrative role for both KSKA and
KSA. She is the first person you speak with when you contact our firm
and she oversees our client contact database. She comes to us with 11
years of administrative experience and strong organizational skills. She
obtained her Associates degree in Applied Sciences from Jefferson
Community College in Ohio and her Bachelor’s degree in Human
Resources from Colorado Technical Institute. |
